Domestic Abuse Needs Assessment Professional and Public Surveys

North Yorkshire County Council & City of York Council have commissioned SafeLives to undertake a domestic abuse safe accommodation needs assessment and whole system review.

As part of the Public Health approach to Domestic Abuse and whole system review, SafeLives are undertaking a professionals survey, for those working across all agencies in ‘public facing’ roles, as well as a public survey.

Please note that each survey covers both North Yorkshire and York and allow the participant to select the areas that they are working or living in.

CLOSING DATE FOR SURVEYS IS THURSDAY 17TH NOVEMBER

Survey links

Please could you circulate the survey across your respective teams and agencies.

If you have any internal communications tools such as newsletters or all staff emails, we would encourage the survey to be shared across those too.

What you & your organisation can do

We are asking all agencies to support with sharing the survey as much as possible to enable us to have the best and most meaningful response by sending the survey to frontline teams and ask them to share it with people who use our services where appropriate.

This can be done by texting or emailing the survey link.

In addition, for colleagues outside of the local authorities – please link with your internal communications team to see if you can advertise and promote the survey either in public spaces or on social media.

Please also share the survey with your colleagues and wider professional networks and ask them to join the efforts in promoting the survey.
